CIMB 4Q2009 recording net profit of RM802.89 million

CIMB Group Holdings Bhd reported a strong set of earnings in the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2009, recording net profit of RM802.89 million, up 152% from the RM318.59 million a year ago. The group declared a dividend of 18.5 sen (single tier) amounting to a total net payment of RM653 million and proposed a one-for-one bonus issue.

If you can recall back since Najib become PM of Malaysia CIMB profit is getting up and up, during Badawi time CIMB profit is not so good at all so how come thing get better during economic crisis? The relationship between politic and economic is really a complex mattel and this why many people want to jump into politic. However CIMB is really a good share to invest as long as Najib is PM of Malaysia. To short term take profit on it wacth out CIMB call warrant tomorrow.

Investment Idea

My investment with RM5,000 initial capital have been growing since 2005.I found the stock market appears confusing and complicated, but it is most definitely based on logic "supply and demand". However, the laws of supply and demand as observed in the markets do not behave as one would expect. To be an effective trader, there is a great need to understand how supply and demand can be interpreted under different market conditions and how to take advantage of this Off Market Transactions in KLSE.
